Growing up, the Grammys has always been a go-to for many of us to cop makeup and fashion inspiration – bringing together the best of the best looks. This year was no exception and we couldn’t help but put together some of the most common makeup trends we spotted on the red carpet along with trends we foresee picking up significantly for this year.
So without further ado, let’s get into it!
Makeup Trends As Seen On the Red Carpet:

- Dark Liner, Light Lips
Rendering a very Bratz Doll lip combo were the renowned Cardi B, Willow Smith, JT, Kehlani, and Glorilla who slayed this lip combo. This lip trend is as easy to recreate as it looks, all you need is the perfect deep shade of lip liner with a light as possible lipstick. The key here is to let there be a stark difference no matter how much you may want to give in and blend them in.

- Vanilla Latte Lips
As seen on Billie Eilish, Heidi Klum, Kacey Musgraves, Paris Hilton, and Shakira at the Grammys. What gets better than a nude that accentuates the lips and offers an oh-so-natural look that makes you almost pause and wonder if their lips actually look this nice in real life? As hard as it may seem to achieve, it’s pretty simple, the secret to achieving this look is to pair a nude that complements your skin tone and outline your lips with lip liner in the same or slightly darker shade for a plumper look. You can either glide a gloss over your lip look or skip for a mattified and more natural finish.

- Lifted Brows
This trend raised a lot of brows worldwide, quite literally! Beautifully flaunted on Gracie Abrams, Tems, Valentine Ferrer, and Shenseea. This makeup trend takes your glam to a whole new level, making your face look chiseled, lifted, and sharp – now who wouldn’t like that!? All you need to recreate this after shaping your brows and cleaning up the edges, of course, is a brow pencil or eyebrow powder and a clear brow gel for a feathery lifted hold.

- Bleached Brows
Moment of silence for all the people who didn’t expect this trend to show up as grandly as it did, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Latto, and Jourdin Pauline definitely proved them wrong by pulling it off amazingly. However, to recreate this look, we would recommend you get it done professionally at a salon rather than taking a risk at home.

- Skinny Brows
Olivia Rodrigo and Mon Laferte surely did bring this trend back with a bang and boy are we impressed! You can shape them depending on how far or how *thin* (wink wink) you may want to take your brows. Just ensure you remember to fill in your brows with an eyebrow powder for a sharp, well-defined brow look.

- Soft Grunge
Guess we can never have enough of a soft grunge look since it made sure to make an appearance in this year’s Grammys. Charlie XCX, Justin Tranter, and Julia Fox were the stars who most definitely held everyone’s attention with this killer and edgy grunge makeup look – of course with their own personal take each seen on them. Depending on the intensity that you wish to go in for, you can either use a jet-black gel liner all over your eye or a kohl for your waterline and smudge it for a smoked-out look.

- Eyecatching Eyes!
Rapsody, Raye, Muni Long, and Janelle Monae, if these stars haven’t caught your eyes already they surely will when you check these looks out. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that we named them under this category because they surely left an impact. If you wish to recreate this look, you can spice up your basic eyeliner with a sharp cut in between with a white liner like Janelle, or stick on some fancy OTT lashes like Raye. You can add some color to your cut-crease like Muni or merge two or more royal hues together like Rapsody.
In a nutshell, we foresee these makeup trends making it big and how this year. If you like these makeup trends and wish to recreate them, you can explore our wide range of products and pick the right one for you!
